CLIENT LOVE

What My Clients Say

The women I work with are smart, driven, and accomplished — but often arrive feeling burned out, unclear on their next move, or stuck in patterns that rob their career of its potential for joy and fulfillment.

Through our work together, they not only achieve the external results they came for — promotions, business launches, thriving teams — but also experience deep internal shifts: more confidence, clarity, and ease than they thought possible.

Here’s how some of them describe the transformation:

From overworked and depleted to grounded, confident, and fulfilled

Before working with Emma, I felt like I was drowning in my work and losing my sense of self, with no tools to help me navigate yet another bout of burnout in my 13+ year career. I first learned about Emma through my women's employee resource group, had a consult call, and immediately felt safe and that this was going to be money well spent.

It was the first time I REALLY worked on myself and Emma helped me go deep into some childhood traumas that manifested in overachievement and perfectionism. She's given me the tools to regulate, navigate work challenges with effective frameworks, make value-aligned choices, and shift my inner voice and relationship with work. My mantra I keep coming back to is "It's okay if things break. It's not okay if I break"!

With her support and guidance, I've been able to effectively advocate for my needs and goals at work and in my personal life. Emma's been such a cheerleader and guiding constant for me these past 7+ months (she's not your traditional career coach!) and I am so grateful to have gotten to work with her. I feel so much more confident in myself, know what it's like to feel grounded and have my cup truly filled, while still learning every day how to keep giving myself grace and empathy. Thank you so much, Emma!!

From career insecurity to confidence in her unique gifts

I came to Emma a year into a big career pivot and eight months pregnant with my second child. I was feeling the weight of motherhood and my new career colliding, unsure how I wanted to move forward. Did I want a traditional 9–5 and if so, how would that even work? Or did I want to continue freelancing and accept the uncertainties that come with it?

Very quickly, Emma helped me dismantle stories I’d been telling myself for over a decade - long-held doubts that my unconventional path and mid-career change were flaws. She helped me see they were actually my strengths. She showed me that forcing myself into a traditional 9–5 wouldn’t necessarily bring the happiness or safety I was seeking, and that all signs pointed to me being a multi-faceted person with multiple interests, and that’s more than okay.

Emma opened my eyes to leaning into who I’ve always been rather than pushing it away to conform to societal pressures. She helped me take better control of my time in a way that feels both structured and freeing. I’ve learned to plan with intention, delegate more, and say yes to help instead of overcompensating at home because I felt “less than” at work and then having even less time to pursue my career goals. I came to her looking for something action-oriented and forward-focused, rather than traditional therapy and that’s exactly what I found!

From feeling stuck and stalled in her career to feeling true joy, alignment and fulfillment.

My time with Emma is truly invaluable. I began working with her because I felt like I was at an impasse in a lot of points of life, particularly career and "what I want to be when I grow up" but didn't know how to unpack it or take steps forward - I felt stalled and stuck for far too long. Emma helped me dig deep into who my true, authentic self is and how to live more fully in that space while breaking long-standing habits and patterns that no longer served me.

Through our work and the many tools Emma gave me, I was able to uncover a path towards living and working in a more authentic way, shedding the "shoulds" and cultural norms that had been weighing me down for far too long. This translated beyond just professional and into personal, relationships, passions, and so much more. I was able to unblock a lot of fear of personal and external (assumed) judgment and build out a tangible plan to empower me on the next steps of my professional journey.

I now find moments that are more and more frequent where I see myself breaking an old pattern and feeling the true joy, the alignment, the fulfillment of deep seeded (often unrecognized, unacknowledged) needs and it charges me with a whole new kind of energy and optimism. I went into coaching hoping to get more clarity on what I wanted to do next and how to grow professionally, and I got so much of that PLUS figuring out some truths about myself personally and how to heal old wounds. If you are considering coaching and are ready to really peel back your own layers, do the work to find your most authentic self and life, and break down barriers that have been holding you back in any area of your life, work with Emma immediately - it will be more than worth your time.

From feeling stuck and stalled in her career to feeling true joy, alignment and fulfillment.

It was serendipitous when I found a recommendation for Emma in my inbox. I clicked on her website, read her “About” section, and I was hooked. It felt like she was taking the words right out of my brain. For months, I had been struggling with acute anxiety, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome. I was planning a wedding, making a career shift, and had been on a hamster wheel of external validation and achievements for years.

For months, I woke up every morning stressed and already behind for the day ahead. I struggled to set any boundaries because I was so focused on achieving the next milestone. At the end of the day or week, I would come home exhausted, still stressed, and on edge. When this burnout began impacting my personal relationships, I knew that I needed to make a shift.

I had been in therapy for years but had failed to get to the root cause of these patterns. I had started to accept them as a core identity. But when I saw Emma’s website, I knew that I had to give coaching a shot.

From the very first session I had with Emma, I felt understood, validated, and safe. We dove into what core beliefs were limiting the way I was moving through my world. Emma guided me through mindful exercises that tapped into my inner child, which allowed me to connect with myself and heal the pieces of me that had gone ignored for the last 20 years. Through six months of sessions, I have been able to reset my nervous system and feel so much more joy, relaxation, and presence in my life. I feel open and easeful in a way that I could have never imagined. From this newfound place of regulation, I know that I will be able to achieve my goals and dreams in a more sustainable, balanced, and intentional manner.

If you are struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, or imposter syndrome, take this as your sign to work with Emma. She has transformed my relationship with myself, and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to do this life-changing work with her.

From overwhelm and imposter syndrome to embodied safety and true self love

Before working with Emma, I was suffering from imposter syndrome and burnout and was overwhelmed with life. It felt like I could never keep up, and in trying to do it all I couldn’t do anything well — which fueled my imposter syndrome even more. I turned to avoidant tendencies, including overworking, instead of addressing the root cause of my unhappiness.

I thought if I read more, learned more, and worked longer hours, I’d get smarter, be better at my job, and my imposter syndrome would fade. I was also having disagreements with my husband about our parenting styles, and instead of dealing with them, I drowned myself in work and avoided my family altogether.

Emma is especially gifted at making you feel comfortable and helping you peel back the layers of who you are and your beliefs, both true and false. Identifying my false beliefs, where they came from, and why they weren’t true helped me move past barriers I had carried for years.

In a breakthrough session, Emma opened my eyes to my hypervigilance. I was constantly scanning the room, evaluating body language and facial expressions to see if people were mad at me, judging me, or disappointed in me. This fueled my imposter syndrome and burned me out both personally and professionally. Emma helped me trace this back to childhood trauma — being told I wasn’t good or smart enough — and that my trauma response was people-pleasing. I realized that even as a successful adult, deep down I was still the scared little girl afraid no one would love or accept me. Emma helped me tell my younger self that I am safe and loved, and it changed everything.

She also introduced me to the concept of the zone of genius and helped me uncover what I’m doing when I feel most alive and lose all sense of time.

Today, my imposter syndrome has significantly decreased and I take a much more balanced approach to work. I still work hard, but I can discern what truly requires my attention versus what can wait. I want to spend more time with my husband and kids, and I have more patience and energy to enjoy them. I’m also much better at giving myself permission to relax without guilt.

Of all the things to spend my time, energy, and money on, working with Emma was easily the best decision I’ve ever made. She helped me focus on my health and personal growth, and I couldn’t have done it without her.

From doing everything “right” but feeling bored and unhappy to being on an intoxicating path to feeling truly fulfilled

Before I met Emma, I was doing everything “right.” I had an impressive job, a loving husband, a great apartment, close friends, and a tight-knit family. Every box was checked, yet I felt bored and unhappy. Beneath it all was a constant sense of inadequacy — some days terrified I’d lose everything, other days completely unfulfilled and empty.

Emma taught me to tune into my body — the tightness in my throat, the pit in my stomach — and let the truth surface. Allowing those emotions through was scary at first, but with her coaching I felt safe to face the intense and sometimes dark truths I’d been avoiding. This went deeper than therapy. Emma has a way of gently helping you face what you’ve been hiding, and in doing so, set you free. Listening to my body instead of my head — where all the programming and conditioning lived — became the key to hearing my real voice.

One breakthrough came when I learned to honor my “no.” My sister asked me to help with a cover letter, and I didn’t want to — so I said no. I was terrified my family would be outraged, and they were. Saying no went against everything ingrained in me about being the “good girl.” But instead of collapsing, I stood my ground. With Emma’s support, I advocated for myself, and over time my relationships actually became more honest, respectful, and loving.

For so long, I pushed myself to be better, do more, and please everyone — never feeling enough. With Emma’s guidance, I began to see I am enough. I’ve started making bigger changes, guided not by what’s expected of me but by what brings me peace, joy, and authenticity. My body has become my compass, and I’m learning to live from inner knowing instead of old conditioning.

This work has put me on a path of true fulfillment. My wish is for every woman to find her voice, because in that lies our power, joy, and purpose. Emma helped me find mine — and reminded me that deep down, we already know how to love ourselves. Sometimes we just need someone to walk beside us as we remember.

From tense work dynamics and conflict avoidance to healed, steady and confident

Before working with Emma, I thought coaching was only for executives or elite people trying to move the needle on a specific skill. I didn’t think it was for me at my mid-level stage in my career. But I was dealing with tense work dynamics I couldn’t resolve on my own, and I had long defaulted to avoidant tendencies in handling conflict both personally and professionally. I falsely believed that all conflict would end in negative feelings. I wasn’t familiar with conflict resolution or using nonviolent cues to explain how I felt. I also wasn’t even aware how often I was making up stories that my “antagonists” were acting with intention to fuel my discomfort and stress.

Over the two years I worked with Emma, the person who once acted from fear, indignation, programming, and false storytelling now feels healed, steady, confident, and equipped. I don’t see my life as perfect nor myself as fully healed, but I now accept that “life is going to life,” as Emma often says. Emma taught me to build a kind, loving, and supportive relationship with myself, so I no longer feel that my failures define me or that negative experiences are karmic debt. I trust that what I want also wants me, that the unconditional love I crave can come from me, and that I now have a toolbox of options to handle obstacles without defaulting to stress, victimhood, or villainizing others.

I made the decision to work with Emma because I realized I was my greatest thing — and I was greatly suffering. I falsely believed that suffering was required to be successful, but it doesn’t have to be. You are your greatest investment. You are worthy of your own love and support, and you are worthy of feeling good. My advice to any woman considering coaching is to put yourself first and invest in you!

From repeating old patterns to  feeling more playful, creative, and confident and truly transformed

I came to Emma with a lot on my plate. I am a mother of two very young children and I found myself repeating patterns from the way I was parented during my own childhood that I wanted to learn how to break so that I could become a better mother. Last summer, I unexpectedly lost a dear loved one who I hadn’t connected with in five years due to emotional wounding and I wanted to learn how to repair future breaks in relationships. Lastly, I was hoping that by working on myself, my relationships, my parenting and emotional and mental health through coaching, I would be able to make more space to explore my unique purpose in this world.

I have worked with therapists before and while they were a healthy emotional outlet for me, I never felt like I was making progress or growing from the sessions. With Emma, I leave with strategies I can use to improve myself right away. Emma has taught me to process my challenges using somatic awareness, self-regulation tools and curiosity. She has helped me analyze my triggers by identifying protective patterns I created during my own childhood. She has guided me to visit and befriend my inner-child. Emma is so empathetic, nonjudgmental, wise, confident and compassionate. When I come to session, I feel safe to bring my most trivial challenges, my most heavy challenges and everything in between.

Emma has taught me how to show up as my highest self, how to be curious about my challenges, how to set boundaries and ask for what I need. My self-awareness has expanded and I now have more space to consider my responses and my decisions. My work with her has improved my relationships because she has helped me become more compassionate and empathetic, more playful, more creative, more confident and more open. I have created more time for myself to be creative and write.

I am so grateful I decided to hire Emma. She has guided me through a season of intense growth. While walking my dog the other day, I realized I feel different in my body, routines, reactivity, awareness, space and decision-making. I feel truly transformed and like a better version of myself. I know I am on the right track and am excited to continue working on myself and learning from my life.

From feeling “broken” and overwhelmed to navigating the demands of life with ease

When I first met with Emma, I had reached a point in my life where I was feeling "broken" in some ways and I felt as though I had no control over my emotions. I was feeling extremely anxious and overwhelmed by any challenge life would throw at me and it was affecting my relationships, productivity and happiness. I've always been someone that has found it hard to ask for help but I am so glad that I have been doing the work with Emma!

Emma is a super insightful, supportive and empathetic person. You can really tell that she is truly passionate about helping people change their lives for the better. She is someone that I have felt very comfortable being vulnerable with, and in doing so, has helped me understand so much more about myself, my defense mechanisms and my triggers.

I am still a work in progress but I now have far more clarity into what I am thinking and more importantly, I have the tools to help regulate my mind and body in order to respond to the demands of life without being thrown too far off balance. I can now navigate situations (that would previously have troubled me) with so much more ease.

I have learned so much from working with Emma. She she has been instrumental in helping me identify my needs, become a more effective communicator, and live a more fulfilling life!

From trying to be who she was ‘supposed’ to be to truly believing in her own greatness

Working with Emma has been nothing short of life-changing. Before I began, I felt stuck in a loop, constantly trying to be what I thought I should be or what others had told me I was. Emma’s guidance helped me break free from those limiting beliefs and taught me how to reconnect with my true self.

Through her coaching, I’ve completely rewired my nervous system, creating lasting changes in how I respond to life’s challenges. Emma helped me reorganize my priorities in a way that honors who I really am, not who I thought I was supposed to be. I’ve gained a deeper sense of self, and the shift in my mindset has been profound.

The greatest accomplishment I now celebrate is truly believing in my own greatness. Thanks to Emma, I no longer question my worth or my abilities. This transformation has been the most empowering and fulfilling experience of my life.

If you’re looking for a coach who can guide you to real change—mind, body, and spirit—working with Emma is the answer. I am forever grateful for this life-altering experience.

From constant comparison and hiding from feedback to courage, candor, and agency

Before working with Emma, I had already worked with another coach who helped me navigate a specific work relationship, but I still found myself falling back into patterns that undermined my career and created stress for me and my family. I was expending so much emotional energy comparing myself to others instead of connecting with my purpose and charting my own path.

Through my work with Emma, I did deep healing and reconnected with my emotions and purpose. I used to hide from feedback—now I seek it regularly. I avoided difficult conversations—now I can communicate with care and candor. I once felt I lacked agency in my career—now I have the courage to make changes and speak up when something isn’t working. I used to internalize my emotions—now I see them as signals for what I need. While I still fall back into old behaviors, I recognize it more quickly and can course-correct with ease.

This coaching has been unlike any other. It was an investment in myself that brought deep healing and gave me a healthy “toolkit” to manage challenging emotions, situations, and feedback. I now have the clearest sense of my path forward that I’ve ever had in my life.

From unclear on her direction to owning her own desires and launching a new career path

Before working with Emma, I felt like conscious success, clear direction, and flow in my creative life were blocked by mental and emotional challenges I couldn’t overcome. I struggled with low self-worth, constant comparison, people-pleasing, a victim mindset, and the belief that things wouldn’t turn out well for me.

Through coaching, I realized many of my behaviors were protective patterns from childhood meant to gain approval. In doing so, I had silenced my gifts. Emma helped me reclaim them.

My life shifted quickly. I said YES to experiences I once feared, launched a career path I’d dreamed about for a decade, and embarked on a work/life/family trip that continues to unfold. I’ve set healthier boundaries, feel more free, and rely less on others’ judgments. My self-trust and intuition are flourishing, I fear the unknown less, and my inner voice is now supportive instead of critical.

A breakthrough came when an obstacle disrupted my plans. Instead of spiraling, I treated it as an opportunity. I now see challenges as invitations to move with more freedom and flow.

Working with Emma was life-changing. With her perspective and encouragement, I broke through blocks I couldn’t on my own. I now have a clearer vision of who I am, what I want, and a deeper relationship with myself — one where I no longer suppress my voice and instead live with greater grace and freedom.

My advice to anyone considering coaching is simple: don’t hesitate. The investment will be more life-enhancing than you can imagine.

From spiraling and anxiety to feeling lighter and able to bring about constructive change

I came to Emma in a state of fraught energy, spiralling anxiety, suppressed/unresolved grief, and a lack of self-compassion and self-awareness as to how I was managing things post a breakup, all whist starting a business. Needless to say, everything in my life felt pretty chaotic! But right from the start, an hour's session with Emma was a source of calming relief and hopeful reassurance.

After years of impassive, traditional talk therapy, working with Emma was so refreshingly practical and actually helpful to my everyday life and behaviors.

Having never experience coaching before, I was apprehensive about some areas and didn't know what to expect, but Emma was brilliant at guiding me through concepts and exercises, always with zero judgment and often showing me herself or sharing her own stories to help me feel supported, safe, and understood. We laughed and cried in sessions, but I always left feeling lighter and more in control.

After six months of working with Emma I have such a better understanding of myself and my typical cycles of behavior and all the tools in place to work constructively and self-compassionately to bring about change. Emma is SO WISE and always found a way of putting things that just made so much sense to me. I am so grateful for her support and have learned so much from her which I will retain for the rest of my life. I couldn't recommend working with her more.

- Rosie

From anxious and resentful of work to more empowered, happier, and hopeful

Before working with Emma, I was overwhelmed and resentful from work. I felt like I was lacking agency, that things were just happening to me, and I wanted support to take back control of my life and reach the next level at work.

Now, I feel more in control and generally more positive about both work and life. I’m still busy, but it feels like a choice I made—and I’m at peace with it. I feel empowered about the decisions I make, more ready to face new challenges, and less anxious about the unknowns. I’ve also made space for hobbies and things I enjoy. Overall, I feel happier, more hopeful, and far less angry.

Coaching with Emma has been well worth the investment for the peace of mind alone. The things that once drained me now feel surmountable, and this work has helped me refine my goals and gain real clarity in my decisions.
